Metza metza December 14, 2009 Zelly (Boston, MA) I'd call this resource something like 60% useful. But then, how can any one volume comprehensively cover all possible dream content? It's useful/helpful when it is, and it's not at all when it's not (i.e., when the dream element is not even listed).
The one and only October 22, 2009 LKS I wouldn't waste time buying ANY other dream book. This is it. This book has so many symbol definitions, you will rarely find yourself saying, "It's not in here." It is up to the dreamer to "put the puzzle together" so to speak. However, I saw another version of this book earlier and it had specific places in it (Oregon, Paris... even big cities) and this is NOT that book. I am wondering it there was a later version. If so, I would get that.
The best dream book. August 24, 2009 Cassidy (Grover Beach, CA) I used this book so much that I have completely memorized it. Of course it is not always 100% accurate because dream symbology can be different for different people at times. But it is stunningly precise in a majority of circumstances. It helps me to connect with spirit. If spirit knows that you are using this book to interpret your dreams, then spirit will give you dreams with certain symbols knowing that you will be using the definitions in the book to interpret the dream. In that way spirit can tell you more precisely what it wants you to know.
The way I use the book is, I write down my dream as soon as I wake up in as much detail as possible. Then I circle each word and write Summer Rain's definition in the margin. Then I go back and put it all together and think about it. It helps if you can have another person also think about it. If you know how to journey shamanically, you can journey on the dream. And vice-versa, you can dream on the journey. This type of analysis can lead to you being able to dream about your dreams and find more connection with spirit, always there ready to help us if we know how to listen.
This book can help you to learn how to listen to spirit. It is a tool that spirit has given us.
No Eyes Surely Approves February 18, 2008 D. Stanford (Port Orange, FL) Alex Greystone did us all a great service by supplying Summer Rain a list of 15,000 words to interpret for those eager to dig deep in search of meaning and wisdom presented through dreams. The tapestries that many of these dream symbols have woven in my and my husband's lives have consistently been astoundingly accurate, clairvoyant, prognostic and prophetic. This comprehensive list contains information about each word that is easy to read, short, and compelling. Summer has again lived up to No Eyes' faith in her that she would "simply" write a book to tell people about "dream stuff" so that people can really wake up. There is no dream book that is better (unless maybe the one she has that has 20,000 words). We've tossed out all of our old dream books and you will too. This one we use daily and have practically memorized. This is THE dream book as far as we are concerned. THE BEST May 5, 2007 J. Weems (Odessa, TX) I own over a 100 books on dreams and this is the very BEST book out there. It is quick and easy to use and very acurate. I have had the book a good 10 years and it has never failed to help me analyze my dream symbols.
