I have always trusted amazon books for any book order directly from them. The book was in a perfect condition as usual. Thanks.

The book was in pretty good shape except for about 30 folded pages. Not a huge deal but would rather not have that happen.

4 out of 5 stars Prentice Hall nurse's Drug Guide 2009   September 21, 2008

We have just begun to use this book in nursing school as I pursue my BSN this time around and hopefully can pursue becoming a Nurse Midwife someday in the near future,so it is hard to give a review but is seems to have very good detailed to the point information for the health care provider that needs to access when they looking up a patient's medication. It has listed what indications or contraindications there would be for the medications, side effects to be concerned with as well as the dosing and forms that are available for it also.Medications keep changing and it is important to get an updated version of a drug guide to stay current with these changes and additions with medications. A handy little tool for any health care professional.

I have an older version of this book and love it but it was time for an upgrade! As a professional, this book provides indepth need-to-know information that helps me with my patients' concerns. Any time a patient asks me something about their meds, this is the book I grab to find the answer! I definetly recommend it!

5 out of 5 stars It's a good book and will work well for most students.   March 21, 2007

It's a good book. The CD in the back of the book was handy for doing drug cards. I preferred Mosby's drug book for Nurses, because it narrowed down the main things the clinical instructor will ask you before you give a drug which is; what's the main thing to watch for in a person taking this drug and what's the action of this drug and why are you giving this drug. So this is a good book and will work for most students but if you have trouble narrowing down the most important information try using the Mosby drug book.
