5 out of 5 stars Simple and easily readable   November 30, 2008
Maria Thompson (Cyprus)
I am a complete beginner in website design, and this book is a godsend because of its simplicity. Following the tutorials is really easy and very understandable, without heavy html words and codes that somebody like me wouldn't understand.
That said, i think this book is not only for beginners but covers all aspects of Dreamweaver. A colleague of mine who is an expert in website development has recommended it because she needs it to develop her skills even further.

This book was a required text for my class...however, I would have bought it sooner if I had known how helpful it would be. Thanks!

The book I bought from Amazon was just brand new. Surprisingly, I got this was just half price of the price my school sold this book.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have Dreamweaver Book   October 2, 2008
J. D. Clark (Austin, Texas)
A must-have manual for all Web designers who use Dreamweaver at any level. One of the HOT series of hands-on computer books published by Lynda.com. Each chapter is a tutorial covering a separate web design task, such as CSS, typograpjy, tables, etc. If you work your way through all 21 chapters you will have built a very complex web site. I have lots of Dreamweaver books, but this one is by far the best.

I am currently enrolled in a Dreamweaver class and purchasing this book was a requirement. So far, I love the book because you have tutorials to assist you along. The exercises you are recommend to participate are very useful and helpful. Great enhancement for the class.
