Very Basic, For the Novice Programmer September 29, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I enjoyed this book but seeing as I was also reading Web Design for Teens, this book was very basic. Although it was basic it explained each thing very thoroughly and helped me make my website. All in all, if you want to learn HTML, get this book first!
Great beginner website building book! March 16, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book at my sixth grade book fair at my school. It was my first introduction to HTML and web design, and I've been constantly designing websites ever since. The book is fun to read and is easy to follow, and within a week I had a website already created that had my personal picture, my personal biography, and my favorite links. I showed it to my teacher at school and impressed her quite a bit :) Now I'm building websites constantly (...). I highly, highly recommend this book for kids and adults alike!
Even a grown-up can learn from this book! October 10, 2002 Shelby Skye (the Pacific Northwest, United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book was very readable and easy to understand. Even though I am a beginner at this, it provided me with enough information to build my own web page. It is written in a conversational style with charts of useful code and many examples of how a page in progress would look. Index and glossary. Good book for both PC and Mac users.
easy to use July 11, 2002 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book was good for helping you make a website...i made my own off of it! The problem was, there was too many details they told you to follow. I think it's a good book to get you started and for reference, but nothing more.
Good for Adults, too September 6, 2001 I bought this book for my daughter but ended up using it myself. It covers basic html and is simply written. Good for kids or adults. I'm happy I bought it - it is well worth the money you pay for it.
