Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Very knowledgeable   August 28, 2008
Charles (Ohio)
I found the book to be very knowledgeable about the operating systems covering all systems and aspects. The book was constructed well and easy to read. It gave a good understanding about the installation of the different operating systems. The writing style was easy to follow going from one point to another. I would highly recommend this book.

1 out of 5 stars Not well written, with inaccuracies, and rambling ponderous text.   August 24, 2008
J. K. Donahue (USA)
This text is very disappointing. It is poorly written and edited, primarily from a language standpoint, but it is also not always Kindle friendly. I have noticed inaccuracies throughout the text, such as calling MS-DOS the very first Operation System... There are literally paragraphs where the author ponders points, such as why there aren't more Operating Systems, without really providing any useful information.
