Fantastic, No Holds Bar Truth about running a Business November 24, 2008 Siong Kian Kiong (Singapore) I finished reading the book in 2 days after it arrived in Singapore ! Actually I was quite skeptical at first about buying R.F.A. because I have never read any of Michael Masterson book but with the strong recommendation through ETR, I decided to give it a try. I am glad I bought it. The methodology indicated out by Michael for the different stage of development in business building is so simply describe that I feel its really worth the money spent. I have failed twice in business but I believe R.F.A. will be the book that helps me to overcome and re-learn the proper way of running a business in the near future. I am thankful to Michael for putting his working experiences on a book that I think is really cheap for the advices you can get from within. I recommend anyone out there who are embarking in any form of business to read this book and it might be the best Christmas present to yourself after all. Cheers and have a wonderful holiday in weeks to come ! William Siong Singapore
Great Business Plan Book November 11, 2008 Michael Beck I read a lot of business books and this one is now I'm my top 5. If you are just getting started or have been in business for less than 5 years, this book is going to be a great help. While this book is great for all types of business, those that are in the direct mail, publishing or internet marketing business are going to love it!
michael knows how to sell, and he sells us all down the river without a paddle October 13, 2008 Rick Mikesell 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Michael Masterson is definitely inspirational, but when you walk away from what you bought from him, you are still left to your own devices to work your way through life; armed from him with only a bit of cheerleading to push you along and nothing really new and helpful. He's great at selling you hype and emptiness with great promises of wealth if you're smart enough to have everything go well for you as you struggle along. I've read a few of his books and I was even duped into buying one of his "success" packages. When I didn't succeed with his Success program, I called to cancel and get my money back. After I found they were still pulling money from my account I got the BBB involved and have no trust in anything he's trying to sell. My hat is off to that bastard and his company for getting a few hundred dollars from me without having to give me anything worth anything. Please don't trust anybody, especially a salesman from the beach in Florida.
Grow Your Business without Delay October 11, 2008 Larry R. Graham (USA) Great insights. The author is not afraid to tell it like it is, regardless of how simplistic some critical concepts sound. The book is a solid blend of what has proven to be simple but essential components of success (things that the naive might see as so obvious as to be misguidedly ignored - don't overlook these), and wonderful less-known ideas. These concepts combine as the power behind the launch of numerous successful businesses by the author and others. While it's geared toward small and mid-size businesses desiring to grow to the next stage and beyond, there are good pointers for big-business readers too.
Motivational manual on entrepreneurial excellence September 26, 2008 Rolf Dobelli (Luzern Switzerland) As a fabulously successful businessman and author, millionaire Michael Masterson certainly qualifies to advise budding entrepreneurs. You can't help but be impressed by his accomplishments, and his enthusiasm and energy are contagious. Masterson's basic premise makes a lot of sense: don't wait until you've fine-tuned your product or service. Shoot from the hip. Fire before you aim. Don't worry about being perfect - just get it on the market. Masterson explains that early in his career, he spent too much time tweaking newsletters instead of focusing on selling them. He uses his experiences to provide instructive lessons for the reader throughout the book. The problem is that Masterson - or anyone else, for that matter - can't give you talent or motivation. If you have the ability and drive, however, getAbstract believes that he can help you squeeze every ounce of potential from your business venture.
