This book is spectacular. It is up to date on everything. It defined exactly what my role will be in a job, the methods of being a savvy assistant and the explanations of duties is detailed and easy to follow. I have vowed to have this book in my desk at every assignment I work at. It's like the Administrative Assistant's Bible!
Administrative Assistant & Secretary Handbook May 27, 2007 RT (USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Overall not bad. I ordered the book because I discovered general clerical tasks such as envelope & letter formats, answering phones, taking messages were not common knowledge to highschool graduates. This book gave our receptionist who had no office/clerical training good guidlines to follow. The computer section is outdated.
