As a frequent participant in Dr. Stephen Aizenstat's seminars, I have really looked forward to the publication of this book, and I had very high expectations. In DREAM TENDING, Dr. Aizenstat has invited us into the ineffable world of relationship with our dreams and provided amazingly accessible and comprehensive methods to foster that relationship in our day-to-day lives. He has translated the unique quality of his "face-to-face" tending of dreams into the written word in a highly readable and enjoyable book that anyone who is curious about dreams will want to read and read again. Aizenstat weaves together stories about his cobbler grandfather, his own relationship with dreams and the imaginal, his years of academic study and research, anecdotal examples from his psychotherapeutic practice, and more than 50 dream tending exercises for the reader's personal involvement with dreams. DREAM TENDING is a great "read," and you'll definitely want to keep it handy on your bedside table!
