You will see your name everywhere! November 11, 2008 Michelle Dunn (NH) Having done my own marketing and publicity for 11 years, I thought I could learn even more things I could do to promote myself with Pam Lontos and Andrea Brunais book. I was right, if you want people to stop you on the street and say they see your name everywhere, this is the book for you. No nonsense and to the point, proven and tried techniques that really work.
PR does matter! November 3, 2008 Thom Singer (Austin, TX USA) The authors do a great job of painting the realistic picture of getting your name known in your business community through the use of PR. The book details how publicity can help you succeed. Too many business professionals think that PR involves some magic, but anyone can increase their visibility.
Packed With Seasoned Insight and Information October 1, 2008 W. Terry Whalin (Scottsdale, Arizona) If you want to reach today's media, then you need to learn what they need, and then how to deliver the material to meet those needs. I love what these authors write in the opening page of chapter 1: "Generating publicity is a learned art. We are practitioners of that art. In this book, we share our decades of experience in PR and news-media worlds, helping people eager to advance their personal or professional interests. The same news-generating principles apply whether you are a CEO, entrepreneur, doctor, lawyer, nonprofit executive, professional speaker or book author." In an easy-to-read format, this book is filled with relevant information to help you get your message out. When you deliver your message, part of the key is to deliver it in a fashion where it will be received--and so often it is not because of the person trying to reach the media has no idea what they need nor how to deliver it. This book provides you with the method and practical tips which will take you way down the road toward success. I recommend it.

Once I started reading it, I knew I had found the answers for all my future media needs. - Kendra Trahan Author/Publisher "Disneyland Detective" "Disney's California Adventure Detective"
Who Knows You? September 22, 2008 Dan Poynter (Santa Barbara, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In business, success does not depend on who you know. It depends on who knows you. This book shows you how to get your name, product, service and/or business featured in print and on the air. A fine and handy guide by two fine and experienced publicists. Highly recommended. --Dan Poynter, The Self-Publishing Manual.
