Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Primarily using Public Relations Society of America award-winning cases, PUBLIC RELATIONS CASES presents a clear theoretical grounding in the major areas of public relations. Using the ROPE process model (research, objectives, programming, and evaluation), the authors keep students focused on the strategic elements of exemplary communications campaigns. The case studies provide glimpses into best practices for public relations campaigns as recognized by professionals in the field. The cases all use a strategic communications model where clearly defined objectives are based on sound research and good audience analysis, followed by creative tactics that are evaluated for their effectiveness.

4 out of 5 stars incredible read   August 29, 2002

I read this book for a class; changed my major to public relations the day I read the last page. Read Geurilla PR Wired too; both books fed my love for the PR industry and gave me an idea that PR was just more than spin doctoring and covering up bad fish with too much sauce.

4 out of 5 stars complete guide to public relations and case studies   February 7, 1999

I studied with Jerry at American University in Washington, D.C. His book is a great guide for the public relations novice to the season publicist. Jerry's writings and explanations are clear and concise not to mention timely. It is a book that should be on every public relations professionals book shelf for reference and review.
