I paid far too much for the product received. The binder was broken and some of the pages were torn. I had to buy reinforcements for the whole book (looseleaf) and another binder. All-in-all, I was VERY disappointed in this purchase.
Easy to Read December 31, 2005 Sheep Mom As far as text books go, this was an easy read. Well put together and easy to understand concepts.

This book sucks. It makes the basic principles of marketing more confusing by bombarding the reader with various terms and phrases with an excessive amount of overlap between them. There is no clear-cut distinction between the glossary items, making studying for bi-weekly exams a chore.

I used this textbook last semester in my first marketing class. I didn't know much about marketing.This book explains very clearly what marketing is, and gave examples of companies that are using the marketing concept, and how it affects customers.The Book also presents ways that you, the consumer can tell weather or not a company is using the marketing concept in order to satisy your needs.
