Product Description The author asserts that people's lack of decisiveness, whether in respect of work, relationships, money or life in general, is attributable mainly to fear. She claims that fear prevents them from doing what they really want and need to do in order to grow and achieve a sense of well-being, and that holding back through fear causes feelings of confusion, self-doubt, frustration, anger and helplessness. The aim of the book is to offer readers a path of re-learning, by means of which they can get rid of faulty thinking, feel the fear and push through it to turn anger into love and indecision into action.

Another perfect title and pay-0ff December 1, 2008 The best Jen yet! I read this book what seems like about ten years ago. The cover looks different now. I went and pulled it out and flipped through it again and it all came flooding back to me. It was like reuniting with an old friend. You will likely be pleased with this book. It's very practical in my opinion. I also like, Tao Cycle Therapy: Natural Happiness via Self Directed Cure for Chronic Anxiety & Depression [Updated 2008 3nd Edition]
A Must Read for those Want to Grow November 9, 2008 V. Macmillan (Cape Ann Massachusetts) This is an excellent, thoughtful read for those on the journey to growth and happiness.....she helps make the "facing fears" part of that path positive, adventurous and ultimately a "no lose" proposition...
Classic, Good for Everyone October 31, 2008 Mark Diggler (Tampa Bay, FL) I bought this book based on a reference in Secrets of the A Game by Logan Edwards. I originally purchased this book to help with getting over my social fears with meeting women, but I actually got much more out of it. Of course, it DID help out with meeting women, but also gave me a better perspective on interacting at work and with family. I highly recommend it.
Practical help for fear and anxiety October 10, 2008 Kate Boswell MFT (Marina del Rey, CA) Anyone struggling with fear or anxiety would do well to read this book. Susan Jeffers has written a wonderful book full of practical advice for overcoming fear and building courage to do what you want to do in life. She does it in a humane way without stigmatizing the person who is suffering. She recounts the story of one person who showed up for her class on coping with fear, and announced that she almost didn't attend, for fear of having a panic attack in front of everyone. Susan then asked her to show the class what a panic attack would look like, and of course, the student was unable to conjure one up. Throughout the book, she tells stories about how people overcame things they were afraid of, and started having fuller lives, using the techniques in the book. One of the main tenets of the book is that fear is not going away, and the only way to get past the fear is to go out and do what you want in spite of the fear. This is not a book you will want to read once and forget about. It is one you will want to refer to time and time again, for reminders on actions you can take to Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway. They are actions you will need to remember to do often, until they become habits.
