A high recommendation to anyone whose paycheck relies on selling themselves along with something more concrete November 7, 2008 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) No one wants to be treated like they are an annoyance to be gotten rid of. "Just Treat Me Like I Matter: The Heart of Sales" tells of how everyone is a salesman, and how no one wants to shop at a store which treats them unpleasantly. A guide for better presenting oneself, it comes with many tips on dealing with rude individuals, mind games, and selling what one is trying to sell without laying it on too thick. "Just Treat Me Like I Matter" is a high recommendation to anyone whose paycheck relies on selling themselves along with something more concrete.
Successful Sales & Life = Treat People Like They Matter October 9, 2008 Norm Stephenson (DuPont, WA USA) This is an excellent book on relationship sales! As a man, I LOVED THIS BOOK, but I think a woman might love it even more. It's possible that a woman might empathize better with the life lessons learned, which brought the author to the place where she was more than ready to share her great kernels of wisdom on sales and life. This book had the same kind of impact on me that I felt many years ago when I first read "How to Win Friends and Influence People." With my own professional experiences in Customer Service and Sales Support, I gained some terrific new perspectives on sales and life from the book. But again, I think that someone new to sales might even glean more. From the dust jacket, I couldn't agree more with the summary statement, "No matter what your type of selling, you will find this book to be brimming with brilliant "Tools" and techniques for improving both your personal and professional life." I highly recommend this book.
