Don Vanpool's Review of "What is Lean Six Sigma?" December 13, 2008 Don Vanpool I expected a short review of lean Six Sigma, but mostly found a quick reminder of some of the basic fundamentals of Six Sigma. For the long time Quality professional, this book is an expanded reminder of the foundational aspects of our movement. For the investment of time, it is worth while, however "What is Lean Six Sigma?" is more for the Six Sigma novice.
Good intro into Lean Six Sigma November 18, 2008 Neta J. Scarpari This book is a quick read and great introduction to Lean Six Sigma for those unfamiliar with the concepts and implementation of a Lean Six Sigma initiative.
Ouch August 12, 2008 Quality Guy (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm sorry but this book lacks any depth at all. I would recommend not buying this book. This is superficial coverage and should only be read by those who know absolutely nothing about quality management.
What is Lean Six Sigma Book Review September 21, 2007 Paul F. Erny 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is an excellent primer for people considering instituting the Lean Six Sigma process within their company. It is an easy and quick read. We have used multiple copies to introduce the process to our empolyees.
What is LEAN SIX SIGMA? June 11, 2007 Mr. T. J. Scally (IRELAND) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent Lean Six Sigma overview book - suitable to hand out during Yellow Belt or Green Belt Training as a support to the participants. As a Certified Black Belt, I can confirm the material is correct (for the experts) & can be understood (for the folk new to LSS).
