Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The bestselling success book of all time is updated and revised with contemporary ideas and examples.

Think and Grow Rich has been called the "Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature." It was the first book to boldly ask, "What makes a winner?" The man who asked and listened for the answer, Napoleon Hill, is now counted in the top ranks of the world's winners himself.

The most famous of all teachers of success spent "a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort" to produce the "Law of Success" philosophy that forms the basis of his books and that is so powerfully summarized in this one.

In the original Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937, Hill draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles. In the updated version, Arthur R. Pell, Ph.D., a nationally known author, lecturer, and consultant in human resources management and an expert in applying Hill's thought, deftly interweaves anecdotes of how contemporary millionaires and billionaires, such as Bill Gates, Mary Kay Ash, Dave Thomas, and Sir John Templeton, achieved their wealth. Outmoded or arcane terminology and examples are faithfully refreshed to preclude any stumbling blocks to a new generation of readers.

5 out of 5 stars TO LIVE YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK   November 24, 2008
Janus Gyan (Soufriere; St.lucia)
This book is without doubt the best if you're looking into becoming a true success. It literally describes all the actions that are required to push you towards your ultimate goal. I will also recommend another from the same other which you would find just as revealing. The laws of success..

5 out of 5 stars This Book Inspired My Mentor, so I had to Study It!   November 19, 2008
Andrea Samadi (Phoenix, Arizona)
When your mentor says that Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" changed the course of his life forever, let me tell you, I ran off to read this book within the first week of hearing that, from Secret Teacher, Bob Proctor, when I first began my studies on the mind.

There are concepts in this book that I found fascinating! I loved Chapter 11 that explains how "genius is developed through the sixth sense." So many people talk about "the sixth sense" and to have it explained to me so that I understand where my "inspired" actions are coming from, was beyond powerful.

I also utilized Chapter 7 called "Organized Planning" and the thirty major causes of failure. What an eye opener to have Hill point out to me the recipe for success. I am excited to continue towards my goals, and understand that as I grow older, I will only sharpen my skills, and experience more success. Who wouldn't want to set themselves up for a powerful life? My mentor did it, so why can't I?

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R16TPH4TK6GX3Z This has been an enormous help in setting and reaching goals. My goals are related to money, but I think his system would help with reaching any type of goal. *note that I read an older edition*

1 out of 5 stars Beware! Not the original author's version.   October 10, 2008

This is a classic (pun intended) example of what's happening with books that many of us read in the `60's and `70's. The books were written in the `20's, `30's, and even earlier. The Secret, which was no secret, was based on these authors' books. I ordered two of Dr. Joseph Murphy's books to replace ones I had given away only to find out they had been "revised." I was so disgusted I gave them away. Genevieve Behrend's books have been taken over by Joe Vitale. His name even appears first on the covers. The description for one of them starts out with, "Fiery Texas author breathes life into dead woman." If you really want to know what Napoleon Hill had to say, get the original version. The book stands on its own merit without any "help" from people who have no new ideas of their own and are just seeking to make money from someone else's work.
