A Classic December 26, 2008 Nathaniel Ritchison (San Diego, CA) "I always knew I was going to be rich. I don't think I ever doubted it for a minute."- Warren Buffett It's no wonder that Warren Buffett knew he was going to be rich, with his intellect, discipline, and the inspiration he found by reading "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It's been said that he's read this book countless times and it's been instrumental in preparing his mindset to invest in hundreds of companies over the years. Though he was not always successful, "Think and Grow Rich" prepared Mr. Buffett, and you too, to persevere and follow your dreams. Napoleon Hill's writings are as relevant today as they were over 70 years ago when they were first published in 1937. Don't be fooled by the ease at which you'll breeze through this book. There are nuggets of wisdom and value on each and every page. It might even take you a few reads to prepare you to be the next Buffett.
outdated version November 1, 2008 W. R. Bee 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This version of Napoleon Hill's classic is the outdated one containing numerous errors. There is at least one other edition that has a tremendous amount of new research material. It and others are far better for anyone who truly wants to understand the Think and Grow Rich philosophy and techniques.
Life-changing book September 8, 2008 Diana M. Estill 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book helped me to change my life and my thinking when I was an impoverished high school dropout. I can't recommend it highly enough. I have shared it with my audult children and often give copies to my friends. Diana Estill, author of Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road
