5 out of 5 stars Merry Christmas from Me to Me   January 7, 2009
C. J. Rasmussen (Trenton, MO United States)
The Mary Engelbreit Desk Calendar has been my Christmas gift to Me for several years. I really enjoy the weekly art work and there is ample room to list daily appointments, reminders, weather and events. It's like a personal journal I can enjoy daily during the year and refer back to later.
I enjoy ordering it from Amazon because I can see what I am getting without driving 1 1/2 to 2 hours to the nearest city to find it. Thank you.

5 out of 5 stars I Stay Organized with ME   December 26, 2008
L. Kline (Iowa)
I have been purchasing Mary Engelbreit calendars for many, many years. Each year she has made each day and month (I purchase numerous different calendars of ME) special. ME artwork is refreshing to the young and not-so-young. ME is the perfect artist who brings out happiness, family, friendship, and/or love in every picture. It's enjoyable to see the calendars on the wall, in my purse, or on my desk. I also have saved each calendar every year for scrapbooking. It's another fun way to scrapbook. I adore ME and do not plan on missing one year of her collections.
The desk calendar keeps anyone organized. This years desk calendar is a little different than the previous years. Not a lot of writing space, but I will make do with what is available. Hopefully ME will go back to what she had in previous years. It's still a helpful day to day tool which keeps me organized.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   December 24, 2008
EarthMama (Northeast USA)
The new calendar format works perfectly for me and I am grateful for the change. As a mom I love the new sections for babysitters' numbers and so forth. The illustrations are beautiful and the choices and themes for illustrations and quotes are better than last year's-- more hopeful and sweet, none of the cynical "smart" humor that I don't care for (which she sometimes does). Lots of pics of moms and babies and kids playing and so forth-- the good stuff. I agree about flipping through the calendar first to see if you like the subject and format. But for me, this was perfect and I am actually excited about using this planner! :D

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   December 16, 2008

I have loved Mary's 2008 and was looking forward to another the
same this year but I see that the format has changed to one I
don't like. I like each day of the week to have the same amount of
space.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed!   November 26, 2008

I wish they had put full images of each month's calendar at the beginning of the book like they had in the 2008 version. I like the way they changed the day by day for writing in daily appointments, but I do not like that they left out the full month calendars. I'm sorry I purchased these and I may return them. Do yourself a favor and look at a calendar store in the mall and see if you like them before buying.
