Product Description
If you believe children should be seduced into warped sexual behavior by the Gay Elite, if you think confessed murderers should be set free by defense attorneys who know how to wield the race card, if you feel promiscuous gay men should be empowered to spread AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, don’t read this book.

But if you’ve always suspected that factions on the Left are trying to destroy the values that define our civilization, this book proves it. Through the pages of The Death of Right and Wrong, author, activist, and pundit Tammy Bruce takes you inside the chilling world of the Left—a place where morals and decency have been turned on their heads and the crisp distinction between Right and Wrong has been blurred into a mushy, gray mess.

In this world, the Gay Elite exploit our children—under the guise of tolerance and education—to satisfy their sexual obsessions.

In this world, the Black Elite laud convicted murderers as community heroes and award-winning “artists.”

In this world, the Feminist Elite fawn over a woman who mercilessly killed all five of her children.

And much more that will offend your sense of decency and threaten your basic values.

Ms. Bruce smashes the facades of “Tolerance,” “Understanding,” and other Leftist slogans to reveal the ugly truth of their agenda. As a gay activist and former president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization of Women, she witnessed firsthand the Left’s attempts to undermine our millennia-old code of morals and values, aided by politically biased media and academia. And if the news headlines of today are any indication, they’re winning the culture war. Unless we act now, we are doomed at the hands of special interest groups on the Left who want nothing more than to undermine our ability to judge right from wrong in order to foist their own selfish, anything-goes society on the rest of us. This book reveals what they’re doing, how they’re doing it, and what we can do to restore decency in our society.

You’ll discover powerful tools in these pages to help you understand the psychology of the Left—what makes them tick and, more importantly, how to stop them from eroding our values completely. Full of controversial opinions and countless examples ripped from the headlines, The Death of Right and Wrong is a powerful, eye-opening book that you won’t want to be without.

4 out of 5 stars Read This, Everyone!   October 10, 2008

Tammy Bruce seems angry. And by judging from the contents of this book, Tammy has a right to be. She shows anger at the damage and destruction being done to individuals and societies in the name of "moral relativism." And a major source of this immorality and amorality, comes from the radical Left, the "Liberals."

What makes this book unique, however, is that the author is not a conservative religious patriarchal maniac. She is almost the opposite: a liberal, secular lesbian and feminist who is pro-choice. And she was a card-carrying member of the radical Left for many years, before she defected to a more sensible and more sober position.

This book is worth a read for this reason, and it will most certainly hold your attention. She argues that the reader does not have to be religious to be appalled at what has been happening for the past few decades.

Her book takes a chilling look at the way radical, secularist and liberal values have driven out other values, and they have left a trail of destruction in their wake. Tammy looks at how a small group of people are intent on imposing their destructive agenda on the rest of society and are succeeding at a rapid pace.

Our real enemy here is the pernicious notion of "moral relativism," the idea that at heart there are no rights and no wrongs, and the only "real" wrong is if someone suggests there are rights and wrongs. Tammy says that the radical Left does not want to push the boundaries of right and wrong, but they want to get rid of those boundaries altogether.

The narcissism of the wacko left harms everyone, as individual traumas and disorders are foisted upon much of society. "The Left is led by a cadre of damaged and powerful individuals," says Tammy, "who have been condemned by their own politics never to escape their victimhood".

Tammy documents how feminists, homosexual advocates, radical black activists, and other Liberal organizations are intent on the destruction of personal responsibility, morality and decency in the name of self-gratification and nihilism, and she provides detailed and documented examples of this destruction. She offers one example after another of how this is taking place.

The Left's attack on Christianity is a case in point. That is because the church is the main bulwark of moral certainty, something that the moral relativists just cannot stand. The author is not a believer, but she can see clearly the concentrated attack on faith in which the Liberals are engaging.

This can take the genre of so-called works of art like "Piss Christ" which denigrate the faith, or with legislation passed to silence believers from expressing their own faith in public. It means Political Correctness running amok, with the banning of Christmas carols or by passing hate-crime legislation that silences Christian preachers.

Activist judges, appointed by Liberals, and an amoral court system which allows rapists and murderers to walk away scot-free is another topic she outlines.

She herself is a practicing lesbian, and she denounces homosexual activists who target our children. Thus Tammy writes that the extremists in the homosexual movement are looking for the complete acceptance of "the depraved, the damaged, and the malignantly narcissistic". She is worth quoting at length:

"The radicals in control of the gay establishment want children in their world of moral decay, lack of self-restraint, and moral relativism. Why? How better to truly belong to the majority (when you're really on the fringe) than by taking possession of the next generation? By targeting children, you can start indoctrinating the next generation with the false construct that gay people deserve special treatment and special laws. How else can the gay establishment actually get society to believe, borrowing from George Orwell, that gay people are indeed more equal than others? Of course, the only way to get that idea accepted is to condition people into accepting nihilism that forbids morality and judgment."

Indeed, this is what really gets her angry: the way children are especially being targeted by the Liberal radicals, and it comes in many forms. Providing explicit sex education for the very young children is one example. The attack on the Boy Scouts for not taking homosexual scout masters is another. There is also a push to normalize child-adult sex, and many respected academics and others championing the cause.

In order to push this to a value-neutral activity, there is first a push to value-neutral language. That is, the verbal engineering precedes the social engineering. Thus radical homosexual magazines pushing pedophilia write of "inter-generational sex" as if the evil of child sexual abuse is mitigated by name-changing.

Tammy believes the Liberals' attempt to sexualize our children is one of the greatest evils in which they are involved. She examines how the sex education industry and many of our academics are waging a war on our children. The examples she provides will make your blood boil.

Of course, all this moral anger will make no sense to the "moral relativists." If there is no right and wrong, then how can there be anything to get upset about? If everything is OK, then how can anyone get angry and make moral judgments or condemnations?

And that is why Tammy is right on when she targets the moral relativists. These Liberals not only seek to justify every evil action, but they intend to strip from us the very ability to say `No, this is wrong'. The Liberals talk about freedom and tolerance, but what they really want is only the freedom to do whatever they want and for the rest of us to tolerate it. But this can never be because as long as there is evil in the world, there will always be moral disgust against it.

Tammy documents a lot of this Liberal evil in gory detail. If this gets us angry and motivates us to stand up for what is right, then this book has served a good purpose. There needs a lot more of this type of anger; may it continue.

5 out of 5 stars Essential Reference to Counter the Left-Wing Agenda   October 9, 2008
Michael Mandaville (California, USA)
Tammy Bruce exposes the tactics that the Left-wing/Socilaist/Liberal camp conveniently uses to implement their agenda. As a former President of the Los Angeles chapter of NOW, she has experienced firsthand their nonsensical attitudes and lack of commitment. She dissects through her intelligent wit and bold analysis about their moral equivalence, moral relativism, malignant narcissism, and hypocrisy. Bruce was a former liberal, so disgusted by the behavior of the Left in her activist years, that she now sees their agenda for what it is. She believed that NOW should have condemned O.J. Simpson for the physical abuse of his wife - standing on principle - rather than forgoing such an articulated stand just to cave into and preserve an activist relationship within the black community.

Bruce discusses the Boy Scouts, the Left's characterization of terrorism and dissects the Homosexual communities agenda - particularly insightful since she is a lesbian. The Academic world is also peeled open for scrutiny and criticism, demonstrating their decadence and nonexistent moral clarity.

Bruce is articulate, insightful, daring and meticulous. The book will go a long way to shake loose the liberal myopia in your brain.

5 out of 5 stars 1960s Hippies and Radicals have children   January 10, 2007
A. Marciniszyn (Detroit, MI United States)

This book is a clear explanation of what happened after the Woodstock Summer of Love. Over the next 30 years, the Hippies, Radicals and Leftists infiltrated institutions of learning and the media. The goal was simple: to transform America into their image. A dysfunctional, sordid and sexually "free" society that had liberated itself from what many call traditional values. Now the Left, and all those who believe the same way, even if they don't realize they've been conditioned to believe it, want a nihilistic, value neutral culture. And they are producing movies, and television and radio programs to promote it. Without a book like this, where the author reveals that Americans are decent people, some people, especially the young, might get the idea that rap and its related culture, modern art and what they see on television and at the movies are somehow normal or average. All of it is not.

At the core is sex. Sex with anyone anywhere of every variety. The author, a former member of the National Organization of Women, tells how the organization has a "no position position" in regard to prostitution and pornography. And today, most of the problems in American society revolve around human sexuality, marriage, divorce, sex outside of marriage and abortion. It could be said that the Left is fostering the idea that if you have any problems in this area, dispose of it, whether it's a wife, husband, sex partner or unborn baby.

The author argues that the Left embraces victimhood as a driving force. All those who speak against what they believe and want must hate them. She also illustrates that many of these people come from scarred backgrounds and instead of healing, wish to be accepted as dysfunctional as they are, and want others to be as dysfunctional as themselves. I don't buy this premise in the sense that the struggles between right and wrong and those who wish to live their way in the midst of a majority that is not accepting of their lifestyle is ages old. But as in the title of the book, if right and wrong can be eliminated, then anarchy is the result. Children will be subjected to parents who change spouses or never marry or drift away or disappear, and these thing too, have happened before. The difference is that every media device is now spewing the instructions to how to live this vile way 24 hours a day.

Protect your children, don't get cable, limit the use of the internet and turn the filth on your radio off. Reground yourself in what you believe is right and wrong. Stay away from the "if it feels good, do it" crowd. Take some time away from a media that wants you to enjoy the vulgar, obscene, dysfunctional and profane. Live your life, don't give it up to the box.

I applaud the author in taking the time to get this book to the public.

4 out of 5 stars Novel because author is lesbian.   December 28, 2006

This book contains little that is new to the true conservative. What is novel is that the author is a lesbian. Also, she was former President of Los Angeles NOW. Undoubtedly she was once very far left, but she found her cohorts in the left to be moving even further left than herself. What she saw and learned disgusted her. Once she got "healthy" (over her "malignant narcissism") she migrated to the right, at least in her social views. I am grateful for that, and found the book to be well written and cogent, nevertheless I found myself annoyed more than once, that she was saying nothing more than most conservatives have been saying for years. There is a hubris in the notion that somehow her status as lesbian gives her moral authority to speak on the wrongs of her peers. Apparently the only one who can "judge" is one of the defectives. If that argument holds than no man can sit in judgment on a criminal unless he himself is a criminal. I for one am white, Christian and heterosexual and I don't need the moniker of a deviant to be able to claim with moral force that sin is sin. Christ is the judge of all things, and from Him we get clarity on moral judgments. Those moral judgments are written in the Bible for all to see. And this goes to another problem with this book. Ms. Bruce goes to great lengths to keep Christianity at arms length, but from whence does she derive her estimations of right and wrong? She seems to imply that knowledge of right and wrong come from within. But that is nuts. Mao Tse-Tung consulted his sense of right and wrong and slaughtered 60 million of his own countrymen. No, truth emanates from one source, and His name is Christ.

One very important nugget that I did get from this book is Bruce's description of how the "damaged left" as she calls them, got to be damaged, and what that damage is. She calls them "malignant narcissists" who don't want to get well - they prefer to remain in victim mode, which is their power base. This insight, further elaborated in book was very helpful to me.

2 out of 5 stars It's merely her opinion....   September 1, 2006

I have not read her book-yet- but from the rewiews I've been reading, she is no different than Anne Coulter who also has her take on the left and no matter how much you read on books about liberals or conservatives, it never ends!! All these books do is get us upset and further alienates us from the real issue. Namely, that neither party has all the answers!

The problems we presently face in our world are way too complex, damm it!! And both parties make me sick to my stomach because neither one has the inner wisdom and the depth of knowledge needed in truly making a difference. We will never set the example to the world because Democrats and Republicans continue fighting over power, control and who knows better!! Hence we are bottlenecked by a political process that works at a snails pace. What also sickens me is that the American public is so far removed from knowing just how bad our political process really is!!
For example, while many may think of Noam Chomsky's ongoing and extensive criticism of US policy as just another opinion, the question I have is this: in all the years he has been writing and lecturing, to what degree is he speaking the truth? Why is it that our political leaders vehemently deny what he has to say? Is it because those who oppose him can't handle the truth? Let us assume for a moment that Chomsky (or any person who knows better) is indeed speaking many truths concerning war, injustice, inequality, and all the rest. Would it not be the DUTY of our politicians to seek out these truths with the attention they deserve? As I see it, we put them in office precisely for this reason!!
And why is it that we often hear of people who have greater depth in knowing the complexities of the world we live in, yet our politicians are unable to fathom it?
At any rate, while I'm sure that Tammy Bruce has provided many truths concerning liberals, judging them serves no purpose. I'd like to see her and Anne Coulter write a book on how to solve the many ills facing our country and the world at large.
