Excellent desk reference for student and professional alike. December 22, 2008 bradsgirl (Ohio) This book is worth the money. It is very easy to use and to understand. It makes the DSM-IV a lot easier to understand. Great addition to your library!
Great for a novice! December 5, 2008 akpsymajor (Austin, TX USA) Good as a study companion to the DSM-IV TR. Worth looking into for the student who wants case study scenarios or vignettes to accompany the diagnosis.
Helpful and concise October 15, 2008 Sziakat (Charleston, SC USA) Using this as a handbook with DSM IV in a graduate course. Very helpful and concise. Much easier to navigate than DSM IV.
DSM-IV MADE EASY October 14, 2008 Elizabeth Waldron "DSM-IV Made Easy" makes the understanding of psychological diagnoses & their medical coding understable & definitely easy! EW
Awesome book March 25, 2008 Beth A. Hood (Jeannette, PA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this book after it was suggested by one of professors in my M.A. in Counseling Psychology program. It is very helpful for the begining clinician in making a diagnosis and it also provides examples of clients with the particular disorders in order to demonstrate a clear picture of what the presenting features are like.
